Life got a tad bit easier the day I learned that being upset or bitter about something is OKAY!
We display human emotions and feelings because we are human, not robots. Happiness is not the only emotion we should feel and it’s not the only feeling we should hide behind to make others comfortable being around us.
There’s this stigma, just like every other stigma in this world, that we should keep how we really feel to ourselves or else everybody will avoid us because nobody wants to hang around someone who exhibits feelings other than happiness and true contentment.
I’ve become comfortable with my true feelings to where I can say that I am bitter or upset about a situation. If I want to be bitter because of something someone has done to me than I should not be told to let it go, move on or stay positive.

I’m going to be bitter until I’m done feeling my emotions.
Then I’ll let it go, move forward and continue to spread positivity.
Feel your emotions, don’t let anyone invalidate how you are feeling no matter how big or small the situation. Allow your body to release those emotions now so that it doesn’t explode later.
