Yes! It seems like Jealousy stems from the excuses we make or that voice in our head that tells us we can’t achieve the same accomplishments as everybody else for one reason or another. Doesn’t really have anything to do with the person we envy. I would have setbacks due to fear of failure so I wouldn’t even attempt to try. I was envious and inspired by those who I saw as fearless until I saw myself as being just as fearless and capable of obtaining the good things life has to offer.
